Ciara Brannigan, DkIT Graduate Ambassador, is joined by a panel of current students and graduates to discuss different aspects of DkIT life covering everything from their motivations for selecting a course, practical learning, social aspects of college life and how they prepare for success in the workplace. In particular, they focus on the following topics:

• Pathways to DkIT:
  During this session, hear stories from real students about their unique pathways into DkIT including standard CAO applicants from North and South, international, mature and those who progressed from Further Ed.
• Hands-On Learning - What Does This Mean?
  DkIT prides itself on being a leader in practical-led learning, but what do we mean by this and why is it important? Well, there are none better to explain this than our students. See students talk us through real projects they have created as part of their courses, and learn about the facilities, practical classes and supports available to them to make it happen.
• DkIT Life Outside The Lecture Hall
  At DkIT we know that the college experience is about so much more than the classroom. Hear from our students about what they get up to outside of class and learn more about the authentic student experience at DkIT.
• Career-Focused Graduates
  DkIT graduates are highly employable with more than 94% gaining employment within 9 months of graduation. Hear real life experiences from students about work placement and how this has helped them gain confidence, new skills and in some cases even new careers.
